And Advance Choose is ideal for households who don’t need the danger of discovering there aren’t any tickets left on the dates they’re visiting, however who don’t need to break the financial institution on one West Finish present.

Advance Choose London theatre ticket offers: the necessities
Firstly, you’ll must get organised, Advance Choose is – like its identify suggests – all about reserving prematurely, with the best-price assure on tickets booked 8-12 weeks forward.
Which makes it very best for households. Whereas there’s nothing to cease you being spontaneous when you will have children, the possibilities are that you just’re planning the primary components of your journey effectively prematurely – and should you’re hoping to incorporate a West Finish present, it’s good to know that’s booked, sorted and all discovered.
Methods to save lots of on theatre tickets in London is all the time one of many large questions requested within the London with Children Fb group which I assist to run, however this isn’t simply your customary early reserving low cost both.
For starters, the location lists all of the eligible exhibits in a single place slightly than having to go looking infinite totally different locations for early chicken offers promising low cost London theatre.
And what if the seats get cheaper? I do know I may be horrible at biting the bullet and reserving, simply in case one thing higher comes alongside – which within the case of London theatre ticket offers normally means a last-minute cut price.
In my very own case, what usually occurs is I uncover that each one the seats have offered out, costs have soared or (very often) merely neglect to verify once more till it’s far too late.
However with Advance Choose, if costs do drop elsewhere, they’ll match it so that you don’t want to attend till the final minute and take a big gamble that you just’ll discover one thing higher. And after 27 years as one of many main theatre ticket gross sales web sites within the UK, figuring out you possibly can belief the offers is added reassurance.
Plus you received’t end up promising your children a specific present, solely to find you possibly can’t get in. Not the reminiscence you need from a enjoyable household vacation in London.
Can I select my seat?
Sure, completely – as you’re reserving prematurely, you possibly can choose the seats you need so that you received’t find yourself caught behind a pillar, battling vertigo in the back of the gods or discovering that the one remaining seats break up your loved ones throughout the theatre.
In contrast to some last-minute deal websites which allocate seats randomly, utilizing Advance Choose means you possibly can work out what’s going to be finest for your loved ones by way of practicality and an honest view, in addition to your individual funds.
That’s all the time been a big gamble with theatre ticket lotteries too – effectively, the clue is within the identify, you by no means fairly know what you’ll get.
Whereas there are some unbelievable ones on the market, and we’ve snagged cut price seats for each Matilda and Harry Potter and the Cursed Little one, I needed to play the lotteries religiously for fairly some time earlier than profitable – fantastic should you reside in or close to London, much less useful should you solely go to not often.
Plus you get assigned seats if you do win – in each instances ours have been nice areas within the stalls, however you get a most of two seats which meant shopping for one other in one of many priciest components of the theatre for my husband to affix me and my daughter.
What exhibits are included?
There are many large identify exhibits, so that you received’t be wanting alternative. To begin off, Advance Choose is together with every part from Matilda The Musical, My Neighbour Totoro and SIX to MAMMA MIA!, Depraved, The Satan Wears Prada, and The Starvation Video games.
Whether or not you’re visiting with teenagers, tweens or youthful children, there’s one thing on provide – plus you possibly can filter the alternatives by date and funds, to work out what suits finest to your journey.
Or should you’re planning a future journey and need to know what’s on, you can too choose by month and browse the exhibits that approach, together with some Christmas theatre specials – I’ve already been eyeing up Christmas Carol Goes Mistaken after laughing till my cheeks ached at The Play That Goes Mistaken with my daughter earlier this 12 months.
Then simply search for the star image subsequent to performances for the Advance Choose offers.
And if the present you’re hoping to see isn’t listed, you possibly can join with London Theatre Direct for updates, as new exhibits are anticipated to maintain becoming a member of the line-up as time goes on.
